Authors of the bill (Reg. No. 1898) suggest increasing financial self-sufficiency of territorial communities by making the respective amendments to the Land and Forest Codes of Ukraine, Subsoil Code of Ukraine, the laws “On Regulating Town Planning Activity” and “On amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re several inheritance issues”.
Committee members took into consideration opinion of the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat that suggests considering some of the remarks made and upholds adoption of the bill as a basis, following the results of its consideration in the first reading.
Committee members agreed that adoption of the bill will increase the level of financial self-sufficiency of territorial communities; increase their material and financial resources; and establish preconditions for socio-economic development of populated areas.
